A New Skyline Rises on Salt Lake’s West Side

The Power District is on the move—and the skyline will soon show it.
Construction on Rocky Mountain Power’s new corporate campus is progressing on schedule, with steel expected to top out by the end of September. Most footings and foundations are complete, slab pours are well underway, and steel has arrived onsite, signaling that the district’s first major building is rising in earnest.

Beyond the campus itself, infrastructure improvements continue along 1460 West—soon to be known as Electric Avenue—as the district builds the backbone for what’s to come. And in another milestone for the Power District’s broader vision, the first multifamily building has been submitted for city permitting, moving Salt Lake City one step closer to the vibrant, walkable community taking shape on the west side.
